Welcome to Aleka Shih Tzu, where we are a husband-wife team passionately dedicated to our Shih Tzu dogs and their enduring legacy. We live in Richmond, TX where we raised our family and began our breeding program in early 2001.
Each of our parent dogs complete DNA testing to ensure we breed genetically sound puppies. We prioritize nutrition and feed high quality food & supplements.
From the tender age of 3 days old, we begin their training with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), and by 21 days old, we introduce them to sound stimulation as their hearing starts to develop. During the 4th week of age, we initiate potty-tray training, often resulting in fully tray-trained pups by the time they go home. Outdoor training starts on our dog-friendly turf yard promptly when they are ready. All of our puppies are introduced socially to a variety of people including seniors and young children as well as to other dogs and a cat. Additionally, we prioritize their nutrition with high-quality food and enrich their lives with the utmost care, benefiting both our puppies and their parents, who are also our cherished pets.
